The PERRIN Performance? blow off valve embodies adjustability, flexibility and absolute control.

The PERRIN Performance? blow off valve will accurately hold more boost then any other blow off valve on the market today.







Turbo charged vehicles use blow off valves to release excess pressure within the boost tubes.When the throttle plate closes, pressurized air builds up inside the boost tubes. A wave of air pressure surges back to the turbo charger stopping the turbine from spinning. Vane damage, Bearing damage and increased boost lag can all occur.







Most automotive manufactures use a blow off valve to release the pressure in the intake system. Factory blow off valves are designed only to hold factory boost levels. When boost levels are raised beyond the factory settings the blow off valve will leak causing lower boost pressures and a loss in power.







Blow off valveThe PERRIN Performance? blow off valve incorporates a free floating, axis adjustable WRX mounting flange which allows the body of the blow off valve to rotate freely 360?. The added adjustability allows the Perrin blow off valve to interface with every aftermarket intercooler and piping kit on the market today.







Tuners can recirculate air from the blow off valve by directly bolting the factory recirculation tube to the precision-machined exhaust end of the PERRIN? blow off valve.







wrx blow off valveThe piston inside the PERRIN Performance? blow off valve is positioned horizontal to the mounting base and is driven by vacuum in the intake manifold, not by pressure in the boost tubes. The PERRIN? blow off valve piston is in fact forced shut by boost pressure with in the boost tubes.







Blow off valve spring tension and blow off flow rates are independently adjustable. Users can independently control blow off valve reaction time and the volume of air expelled when the valve opens.







No tools required. Simply twist the outer, top cap, to increase or decrease spring tension, adjusting blow off valve response. An internal adjustment controls the airflow rate while venting boost pressure. The added adjustability allows the tuner to vent less air for low boost applications and more for high boost applications. Custom tailored venting will minimize your boost lag between shifts.
